May the Spandex Be With You
If you’re a geek and a girl, then hopefully by now you have heard of the Black Milk Clothing company. Known for their spandex pieces and the stare worthy patterns that they put on them (bones or muscles, anyone?), Black Milk has started to change the way women wear spandex. Although they have been around for a few years now, what really put them on the map in my opinion was when they created their signature R2-D2 and C-3PO swimsuits. Pretty much every female Star Wars fan who saw those wanted one and every geeky guy wanted to see their girlfriend in one! And once they got the official green light (and licensing) from Lucas to make more, it was just a matter of time before I knew I had to have my own Black Milk Star Wars dress. Even though it was so hard to decide which one to get, I liked the basic black and white colors of the Star Wars manga dress as well as the manga drawings since it’s a little less typical of what Star Wars fans are used to seeing. And most of all, I knew I would have a ton of fun wearing it!
