We Want Star Wars Weekends!

Star Wars Princess Tee and Chevron Striped Maxi SkirtFor someone who lives a 6 hour drive away from LA, I am pretty sure I frequent Disneyland more than the average person in the Bay Area. Estimating something like 2 times a year for the past 10+ years, I’d say I’ve been there quite a lot, almost to the point where I must go at least once a year. And for the first time in my life, I am an annual pass holder, which means Disneyland all year round!! Woo hoo! Some of you may wonder if one would just get sick of Disneyland after a while, but if you’ve been there enough, you’ll come to realize that there is a whole ‘nother dimension of Disneyland – Disneyana. In other words, pin trading, art collecting, Disney memorabilia, and even collecting and trading Vinylmation figures. And for any person like myself who is into collecting “stuff”, pin collecting and toy collecting can get extremely addictive fast. Pin collecting seems to be my newest addiction and this weekend I’ll be heading down for Memorial Day for another visit to the park. Although I’m really bummed that Star Wars Weekends is only happening in the Florida Disneyland Resort, I’m still hoping to be able to stay awake long enough to experience Disneyland for 24 hours! And as always, I’ll be sporting my Star Wars gear to hopefully let Disney know that us Disneyland goers are worthy enough for Star Wars Weekends!

Just got my Disney pass this month. Wish they were doing Star Wars at Disneyland too. 24 hour day is supposedly to be insane, apparently last year they were at capacity. May or may not be hitting it up this evening to take advantage of the 6am closing time.

I just want to get to all the planets! I think the only one I haven’t done is the pod race. Although the employees say you can’t request a location, sometimes I think you can ask and they *might* take it into consideration. And yes, 24 hours at disneyland was insane and insanely crowded! I gave up by 3am. lol.

Heheh you aren’t alone!! I live in the Bay too and I manage to get down to use my season pass 4-5 times a year! I’m going twice in September for dapper days then for my bachelorette party! Love your style!

Thank you! Ooh, I’ve never heard of dapper days – I’ll have to check it out! I took my friend there for her bachelorette party too and it was a blast. I actually made her one of those “bride checklist” shirts too where she had to do stuff like “Swap hats with a guy and take a pic”, “Have a guy buy her a dessert”, or “Take a pic with a prince”. Those are always fun!
