Spellbound Skirts
As you might remember, last month I participated in the Geek Fashion Show at Comikaze, which is still one of the most memorable things I have ever done at a convention. From that fashion show, I met so many cool people and of course was exposed to lots of geek fashion – some old and some new! One of the pieces that really stuck with me was 1138 Clothing’s Harry Potter inspired look. The feminine skirt with the ultra cute kitty cloak was just calling to me and I quickly went on a mission to acquire these pieces! Linda at 1138 Clothing whipped up a custom grey skirt for me and was so kind enough to let me borrow her cloak (which I now must own) and with that, I couldn’t help but post not one, but two outfits for today’s post!
Because of the way I had seen the initial Harry Potter-esque outfit, I couldn’t help but want to mimic that preppy school look. I already had the scarf, which I coincidentally owned from J.Crew before the movie ever came out, and the rest of the outfit was a piece of cake.
