Con Crazy

BatgirlofBurnside_JacketIf you’ve been following me over Facebook, Instagram or even Tumblr, you may have seen the plethora of cosplay progress photos I’ve been posting. I feel like I’ve been doing one of two things in my spare time these days – working out and working on costumes. Maybe I’ve just been in hibernation too long, but it feels like it’s been forever since I made a new costume and WAY too long since I’ve been to a con! Well, this weekend, I’ll finally get a bit of con fix since there’s a new con coming right to my neighborhood – Silicon Valley Comic Con. I have no idea what to expect as it’s the first time we’ve had something like this, but what I’m most excited for is the Back to the Future reunion that’s happening on Saturday. For the first time, Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson will be reuniting at SVCC and I can’t wait to put on my puffy vest and overalls to attend the show.

Time for another Comic Con??

And right after SVCC is over, I’ll be off to Wondercon! I’m totally bummed that it’s not in Anaheim anymore so we’ll have to see if the LA Convention Center is just as fun. :PI have two new costumes I’m working on and and can’t wait to share them with you guys! One being Batgirl of Burnside and the other – well, you’ll just have to wait and see. :) AND if you’re looking for a riveting panel to attend, be sure to check out Geek Wars, hosted by Tony Kim (Crazy4ComicCon)! This panel is going to be on the Saturday of Wondercon (March 26, 1pm) and I’m so thrilled to be part of his panel for the 3rd year in a row. He’s always able to bring some really great topics to the table so if you’re looking for some great discussion, check this one out! And if you do, please come say hi to me!!   Geek Wars Panel Wondercon
