Concert Ready
With The Last Jedi and all it’s mixed feelings and emotions behind us (sort of), it’s nice to take a minute to really appreciate some of the other Star Wars movies. Immediate after watching The Last Jedi, I went back and rewatched The Force Awakens, Rogue One, and most of the original trilogy. And I don’t know about you, but I suddenly became so much more appreciative of these other movies and even what JJ Abrams did for The Force Awakens, despite people criticizing him for making it too similar to A New hope. It’s kind of like that saying, “you don’t know what you have until it’s gone”. Today’s outfit is just about that. The Modal Nodes aka “The Cantina Band” is one of those things that you never forget about in the early scenes of Star Wars. That place, that tune, those big black eyes… it’s all coming back to me. Even though this band easily gets overlooked, maybe it’s time to give them a little credit.

I had similar feelings after seeing The Last Jedi. Despite all the drama and my own shortcomings about it, I’ve still being thinking about all Star Wars movies for the past two months. There’s still so much love there for the franchise.
