Stormy Days
I always get some sort of con-withdrawal after attending a big con, especially since this year’s Wondercon was so much fun. With me missing the con scene and being in cosplay, I decided today’s outfit should be something a little more “costume-y”. With this Stormtrooper tank mimicking the boxy structure of a Stormtrooper uniform, I wanted to pair it with something more structured or geometric. And this peplum skirt is definitely “the skirt I’m looking for…”

Dark Side of the Moon
You know those college street fairs where they sell all sorts of stuff you don’t need? Especially the people who sell every kind of poster that you can think of? Well, when I saw this poster in college, I instantly fell in love with the art, the concept, and yes, it was probably weird that I had some naked backsides on my wall… but oh well! I didn’t really care. Strangely enough, I only knew one Pink Floyd song at…

Maxi’d Out
It’s been a while since I last felt the rush of getting a new cosplay done in time for a con and this week has been one of those weeks. With me trying to find time to work on my cosplay (while my deliveries go missing) and at the same time dealing with SDCC hotel madness, it’s no wonder that by Friday, I’m pretty wiped out and just want to curl up with my controller and Dark Souls. With little…

You may not see me in a Wonder Woman cosplay anytime soon, but in the meantime, this shirt will have to do. Today…

Over the Moon
It may be the rainy weather or the fact that I was just passed out and sick for days, but there’s something about a comfy sweatshirt that just makes me feel good. On top of that, this sweatshirt is very Bret McKenzie a la Flight of the Conchords, making it 20% cooler. ;) If you were a fan of the show like I was, Bret was almost always wearing a shirt, sweatshirt, or jumper with an animal on it and I…

Simplifying the Leopard Print
I’m definitely a little more on the picky side when it comes to wearing “crazy” patterned stuff. Sure, I can wear a colorful comic print top, but put me in something bold like leopard print and I can feel completely out of place. However, I am loving this particular top – maybe it’s the black and white leopard print that simplifies the leopard colors or maybe it’s the leather sleeves that ads a bit of edge. Either way, if you’re…
