Pink and Vintage Lace

Vintage Lace Blush Pink DressIt’s time for another pink dress, but this one has a touch of vintage lace. I really do love blush pink even though I swear, I generally do not wear that much pink! But lately with many weddings, bridal showers, and wedding related events, I’ve been busting out the party dresses. I especially liked this one because of the lace, the conservative length, and the overall vintage feel of the dress. If only I could wear my hair in some ’40s curls and I’d be all set!

This dress is surprisingly from Forever 21. But not just any Forever 21. I recently went to the mega mall known as South Coast Plaza in Irvine, CA and visited their larger than life Forever 21 store. Now I have been to the three story Forever 21 stores in San Francisco and New York, but this one was like it’s own department store and had an amazing selection of well, everything! I even noticed that some of their items were more expensive than normal, had better craftsmanship, and were may “higher end” Forever 21 items. Hard to say, but the two items I purchased that day – a really nice trench coat and this dress both made me think that this branch of Forever 21 definitely had better quality stuff than your average store at the mall.
