Vacationing on Tattooine
RVCA is one of my go-to summer brands for great casual dresses that are a little out of the ordinary. This striped one is actually two pieces – a tank top dress with a separate cropped shirt. You can always count on RVCA to add something interesting to a piece of clothing – for example, the decorative tie in the back of this dress. And there’s nothing like a heat wave, sand, and beach wear to remind you of Tattooine and Tusken Raiders. Since we’re already talking about sand and Star Wars, I’ll leave you with one of my favorite awkward Anakin Skywalker quotes from the prequels. In a romantic gesture to Padme, he says, “I hate sand, it’s coarse and it get’s everywhere, unlike here, where everything is soft, and smooth.” Ugh, barf!
