Mermaid Out of Water

I think at some point or another, all kids get obsessed with something – maybe dinosaurs, Hello Kitty, Legos, etc. My obsession was Mickey Mouse. Specifically, I had this one Mickey Mouse plush that I carried around everywhere – my “Linus blanket” if you will. It was dingy, missing a nose, and probably smelled of drool, but that plush was my constant companion for the beginning part of my childhood. I never thought my obsession over Mickey or even Disney stuff would carry on with me as an adult, but Disney is like crack. They get you early and you’re hooked. To this day, I am still just as obsessed – collecting Disney pins, going to the park (30 times last year, baby!), and geeking out over their newest apparel – especially this Little Mermaid tank top! Peter Pan syndrome? I dunno. What do you think?
