Stars and Stripes

Since July 4th is on such a random day this year, I thought I would also do something random and a little different for a July 4th outfit. Instead of wearing a typical red, white, and blue, I decided to go stars and stripes by sporting this striped blazer with my star print tank. And to add some patriotic flare, I threw in my bright red vintage heels. I mean, if they’re going to make us take off work on a Wednesday, why not go against the grain and do something different for a July 4th outfit, right?

And a random note – now that I’ve looked more at this outfit, I’m realizing that it looks very much like yesterday’s outfit! Funny how you can own a ton of things in your closet that are so similar! I don’t know how many times I have bought something and come home realizing that I own something extremely similar.
