One More Pumpkin…

Nightmare Before Christmas Pumpkins

Halloween may have come and gone, but I wanted to take one last chance to post some pics a la Instagram. This year, I carved a record number of pumpkin (9 total!) and I hope that I don’t have to beat that number anytime soon.  Since five of them were for a commission project, I was a bit sad I didn’t have any of my own so I decided to just do one more. One more led to another 3 and I think I’m all finally carved out. Phew! On with the pics…

I did a last minute Wednesday Addams costume for the weekend. I would have liked to be much scarier, but this had to be kid friendly. :)

Usually I’m not one to wear my cosplays for Halloween, but I couldn’t resist when I found out a few of my coworkers were going to be dressed as Star Wars characters.Female Han Solo - the stylish geek

This has to be my favorite Han and Leia pic. Perfect Carrie Fisher pose.Female Han Solo and Leia - carrie fisher pose

Love being able to geek out at work!

This was more of a practice pumpkin. I think he ended up resembling a Gamorrean Guard a little, don’t you think?

Carved these guys in a rush, but they made it! Nightmare Before Christmas never gets old! I have to give my husband a ton of credit for carving most of Jack! :)

I wanted to be in costume when I handed out candy so I threw on the most kid friendly costume I have – Princess Bubblegum!
