A Visit to Loakal

I recently stumbled upon one of the coolest stores in the Bay Area. Imagine all the cute hand made things that you might see on etsy, plus a few geekier things you might come across at a con, add in an art gallery, a little bit of Star Wars, unique housewares, and a wall of graphic T-shirts and you have the Loakal store in Oakland, California. Not only is much of their stuff hand made, but knowing that you’re buying something made locally and from a local artist makes it all the better. I knew from the minute I walked into the store that I wouldn’t be coming out empty handed. Stay tuned this week as I’ll be showcasing a lot of their cool clothing, shirts, and jewelry!
