Sheer Fun

Last time I posted a shirtdress outfit, it was a slightly more formal/chic look. Today’s shirtdress is pink, sheer and flowy. Normally you might think pink + flowy = ultra feminine, but I wanted to keep this outfit far from that by adding some edgier accessories. And while wearing something sheer can be challenging, it also opens up tons of possibilities in terms of what to wear underneath – a plain tank, lace bandeau, stripes, or even polka dots. I decided to go with stripes by wearing one of these American Apparel bodysuits (which on a separate note, I also find challenging to wear!) It’s definitely a little different and out of my normal comfort zone, but sometimes fashion is about taking risks, right?
