When I was growing up, it was extremely common to see people wearing real fur. Yes, there were still protests and random “red paint” incidences in the news, but it definitely was not as frowned upon as it is today. As an animal lover, I’ve never been an advocate of wearing real fur. And on top of that, having had 3 pet rabbits when I was a kid, I could never imagine myself wearing something that might be my pet! So it’s nice that faux fur is available to those of us who love our cute furry animals but still like to wrap ourselves in a nice coat of fuzzy warmth.
